There is no commenting feature on this site. Not even on the Journal (Blog) page. Naturally, because you do not submit any comment form, there is no data fetched from you.
Media
Similar to comments, there is no image upload feature on this site. It’s mainly my personal portfolio and journaling site. This means, no uploading from the user (you) end. No upload means no data recieved from you.
Cookies
This site uses functional cookies but none that store your personal data. For example, there is no Google or other analytics installed directly on to this site. Which means, I do not know when you (the user) visited the site. The site uses QuicCloud CDN which by-default recieves analytics on the geographic location of user. It tells how many users visited from which city. But it does not store or see any identifiable data or any data point that is directly linked to you, the user. If you like you can read QuicCloud’s privacy policy by clicking here.
Embedded content from other websites
Some of the journal entries and portfolio pages on this site include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites (for example YouTube) may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. As an owner of the site, I have no control or relation with any of these third party sites (for example YouTube) Just like you, I use them as a service and their lawyers and legal department are responsible on how they treat the data.
In some cases, some media (images and videos) are served through a DAM service called Cloudinary, which by the way is also GDPR compliant. They do not store your personal data either, but you can also read their privacy policy on https://cloudinary.com/privacy
